Introduction to Microsoft Excel

We’ll cover set up updating and maintaining spreadsheets creating equations and functions generating graphs charts and more. This is a hands-on workshop. Participants should be familiar with basic computer functions. $30 registration fee. Presented by the SF SBDC.

Basic Bookkeeping Part Three

State Payroll Tax Workshop 12/14 9:00AM – 3:00PM

This workshop provides participants with hands practice on how to calculate state taxes and complete state payroll tax forms. The workshop is recommended for those who have previously attended a Federal/State Basic Payroll Tax Seminar or for those familiar with state payroll tax reporting but who would like additional practice. Preventing Unlawful Harassment for Restaurant Management – CA Law AB1825 Training

1/9 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

California law AB 1825 requires employers with 50 or more employees to provide all managers supervisors leads or anyone advising employees with two hours of interactive sexual harassment training every two years. All supervisory personnel must be trained within six months of their date of hire or promotion and every two years thereafter. In 2011 a record number of harassment cases were reported with issues ranging from misunderstood joking and horseplay to intentional harassment. Supervisory personnel have a personal responsibility to keep the workplace free of harassment; failure to do so can lead to a financial fine to the supervisor/manager.
