Small Business Administration Workshop for Cantonese Speaking Community of Alameda County
Alameda County Supervisor Alice Lai-Bitker and the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce (OCCC) continue to uphold their high standards for financial education and fiscal empowerment that has earned them success over the years.
On June 4th 6pm – 8pm, at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center, Supervisor Lai-Bitker and the OCCC will be hosting the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBA will bring to Alameda County a workshop hosted by a team of experts to help small business professionals utilize the newly created American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This workshop, conducted in Cantonese, will present information about Federal Government Stimulus programs to help small businesses, including:
· Millions of dollars available for small businesses through SBA loans
· Micro loans to help start new businesses, and
· New Federal, State and local contract opportunities
Presented in an easy to understand, practical format, the two hour workshop is a must for small business owners wanting to improve their bottom line by gaining valuable knowledge from industry and financial leaders.
